Getting Closer
Today was my last day at work. Yeah! Now I can focus on getting ready for Israel. Bob flies down to San Francisco this week to get our Visa's. There is a chance we might leave by mid August.

VISA
Just an update of what might be going on... Fara's last day working is 7/27. Bob's going to try and go down to San Fran late next week to pick up the visa and then move his start date to August 18th (a Thursday) to start work on the 21st. Right now we need to hear back from the relocation people first.

Geography Lesson - Where is Israel?
The geography of Israel is very diverse, with desert conditions in the south, and snow-capped mountains in the north. Israel is located at
31°30′N 34°45′E at the eastern end of the Mediterranean Sea in western Asia.[2] It is bounded to the north by Lebanon, the northeast by Syria, the east by Jordan and the West Bank, and to the southwest by Egypt, with this border also being the border between Asia and Africa.[2] To the west of Israel is the Mediterranean Sea, which makes up the majority of Israel's 273 kilometers (170 mi) coastline[3] and the Gaza strip. Israel has a small coastline on the Red Sea in the south.

A new adventure
We have some very exciting news to share with you all. We want to first apologize for keeping most everyone in the dark about it for so long. The last few months have been a bit of a roller coaster of emotions depending on which way the winds were blowing and we wanted to wait until we were 99.9% sure it was going to happen before announcing it to everyone. So here we go...
Bob has been given the opportunity to move to Israel to work with a design team at an Intel site there. He will going there with two other coworkers from Oregon to share our expertise. So we will be moving there sometime this summer.
Unfortunately we are a little light on details of the move right now because there is a lot to still be worked out. The work visa application process in Israel is not an exact science and therefore Bob's start date in Israel is somewhere in the range of late July to early September.
